Terms of Use & Privacy Policy
Last updated · July 7, 2026
My Daily AI (the “Service”, “we”, “us”) is a private, experimental prototype built solely for research, learning, and personal experimentation. It is not a commercial product. It is not sold, it carries no advertising, it charges no fees, and it is not offered as a service to the public or to businesses. The Service is free and will remain free. There is no paid tier, no subscription, and no premium feature of any kind. By accessing or using the Service you agree to both the Terms of Use and the Privacy Policy below. If you do not agree, do not use the Service. Because this is an experiment, features, data, and this document may change or be discontinued at any time without notice.
Part I — Terms of Use
1. Eligibility
You must be at least 16 years old to use the Service, or the higher minimum age set by the law where you live. The Service is not directed to children. If we learn that we have collected data from someone below that age, we will delete it.
2. Nature of the Service; no reliance
The Service aggregates publicly available third-party content (articles, videos, news) and uses artificial intelligence to summarize, classify, and generate content such as summaries, learning plans, and an audio “daily briefing”. The daily briefing's script and both hosts' voices are entirely AI-generated and synthetic — they do not represent real people.
AI-generated and aggregated content may be inaccurate, incomplete, outdated, or misleading. It is provided for general information and experimentation only. It is not professional, legal, financial, medical, or any other kind of advice, and must not be relied upon. Always verify information against the original source, which we link to wherever possible.
3. Third-party content and intellectual property
Articles, videos, feeds, thumbnails, and other source material remain the property of their respective owners and are subject to their own terms. The Service links to original sources and shows short summaries for convenience and commentary in an experimental, non-commercial context. We claim no ownership over third-party content. If you are a rights holder and want your content removed, see Section 13 (Takedown) below.
4. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- use the Service for any commercial purpose;
- disrupt, overload, probe, or attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Service or its infrastructure;
- scrape, copy, or redistribute the Service or its data at scale;
- misuse the AI features to generate unlawful, harmful, or abusive content;
- attempt to identify other users or access data that is not yours; or
- use the Service in violation of any applicable law.
5. Accounts
Sign-in is provided through Google. You are responsible for activity under your account. We may suspend or terminate access at any time, for any reason, including to protect the experiment or its costs.
6. AI features and availability
AI features rely on third-party AI providers and are subject to global usage limits that may make them temporarily unavailable. We may throttle, pause, or remove any feature at any time.
7. No warranties
THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE”, WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, ACCURACY, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, secure, or error-free.
8. Limitation of liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, THE OPERATOR OF THIS EXPERIMENT SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF DATA, PROFITS, OR GOODWILL, ARISING FROM OR RELATED TO YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE. Because the Service is free and experimental, the operator’s total aggregate liability shall not exceed USD 0. You use the Service entirely at your own risk.
9. Indemnity
You agree to hold the operator harmless from any claim arising out of your misuse of the Service or your violation of these Terms.
10. Changes and termination
We may modify or discontinue the Service or these Terms at any time. Continued use after changes means you accept them. We may delete the Service and all associated data without notice.
11. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the operator’s place of residence, without regard to conflict-of-law rules, and any dispute shall be resolved there.
12. Contact and responsible party
The Service is operated by an individual builder based in Argentina(the “operator”). The responsible party will be updated with a company name if and when the Service is incorporated as a legal entity. For any question, request, or claim you can write to us at hello@mydailyai.app. For content-removal claims, please use the dedicated address in Section 13.
13. Takedown / DMCA
If you are a rights holder (or authorized agent) and want your content removed from the Service, email us at takedown@mydailyai.app with the following:
- the URL(s) of the content on our site;
- a description of the work you own, with a link to the original;
- proof of ownership, or authorization to act on the owner’s behalf;
- your contact information (name, email, and — if applicable — physical address);
- a good-faith statement that the use is unauthorized, and a statement (under penalty of perjury, where applicable) that the information you provide is accurate.
We will remove valid takedowns within 72 hours and confirm by email. Repeat takedowns from the same source will result in that source being blocked from the Service. We reserve the right to reject notices that are incomplete, abusive, or clearly not made in good faith. If you believe your content was removed by mistake, you may send a counter-notice to the same address.
Part II — Privacy Policy
This experiment is designed to collect as little as possible and to never use your personal identity to train or improve anything. This section explains, in plain terms, exactly what is collected, why, and who can see it.
1. Summary (the important part)
- We do not sell your data, show ads, or use your data for any commercial purpose.
- We do not use your personal data (your name, email, or profile picture) to train or improve any model or content. Those are used only to sign you in and show your account.
- We do use your activity data (what you open, read, save, follow, and the topics you choose) to personalize and improve the content the experiment delivers — including the AI-generated content and the prompts/models behind it. This activity data is never tied to advertising and is never sold.
- Site administrators (the person running the experiment) can view your account and activity data through an internal admin panel, solely to operate and improve the experiment.
2. What we collect
a) Account data (from Google sign-in) — your email address, display name, and profile-picture URL. Used only to authenticate you and display your account. Never used for training, advertising, or sale.
b) Preferences you set — your selected interests/topics, a self-assessed reading level, your onboarding quiz answers and resulting score, and channels you follow or unfollow.
c) Activity data (behavioral) — items you open, read, save, and view; when you are active; and similar in-product interactions. This is the data used to personalize and improve delivered content.
d) Content you create and submit to AI features — the free text you type into features such as learning-plan goals or an AI query. This text is sent to a third-party AI provider (Google) to generate a response (see Section 4). Please do not enter sensitive personal information into these fields.
e) Operational / AI telemetry — technical records of AI calls (model used, token counts, cost, timing, success/failure) used to operate the experiment and control cost. Not linked to advertising.
f) Essential cookies — a session cookie to keep you signed in. We use no advertising or third-party tracking cookies, and no third-party analytics. Because we only use strictly-necessary cookies, no cookie-consent banner is required under EU / UK rules; if that changes (for example, if we ever add analytics or ads), we will show a banner and only set non-essential cookies with your consent.
Legal basis (users in the EU/UK)
Under the GDPR / UK GDPR, we rely on the following legal bases: performance of a contract (Art. 6(1)(b)) for authenticating you and providing the Service; legitimate interests (Art. 6(1)(f)) for using activity data to improve delivered content, prevent abuse, and monitor costs — a legitimate-interest assessment concluded these uses are proportionate and not overridden by your rights; and consent (Art. 6(1)(a)) for anything not covered above. You can object to legitimate-interest processing at any time by contacting us or deleting your account (Section 6 below).
3. How we use data
- To authenticate you and provide the Service.
- To personalize your feed and recommendations.
- To improve the experiment — including the quality of AI-generated content, prompts, and models — using activity data, not your personal identity.
- To operate and monitor the Service, control AI costs, and prevent abuse.
4. Third parties (sub-processors)
The Service runs on and shares data with a small number of infrastructure providers strictly to function:
- Google— sign-in (OAuth) and AI processing. Text and content you submit to AI features are processed by Google’s Gemini API to generate responses, subject to Google’s terms.
- Supabase — database and authentication hosting (stores your account, preferences, and activity data).
- Vercel — web hosting and delivery.
These providers process data on our behalf to run the experiment. We do not otherwise share, rent, or sell your data.
5. Who can access your data
- You — your own account and activity.
- Administrators of the experiment — can view account and activity data through an internal admin panel, to operate and improve the Service.
- Within the database, access is restricted by row-level security so that ordinary users can only see their own data.
6. Data retention and deletion
We keep data for the following periods:
- Active accounts — for as long as the account exists.
- Deleted accounts — we remove personal data (account, preferences, activity) within 30 days of your deletion request. Some records anonymized of your identity (e.g. aggregated AI-cost telemetry) may be retained longer for operational accounting.
- Operational logs — up to 90 days.
- Backups — rolling backups by our providers may retain data for up to 60 days after deletion until they are overwritten.
How to delete your account— open Settings and use “Delete account” to permanently remove your account and associated personal data. You can also email hello@mydailyai.app if you prefer, and we will process the request. Because this is a prototype, the Service itself may be discontinued at any time; if that happens, all data will be deleted.
7. Security
We use reasonable measures, including encryption in transit and database access controls (row-level security), to protect data. However, no method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and — because this is an experimental prototype — we cannot guarantee absolute security. You use the Service at your own risk.
8. International processing
The Service and its sub-processors (Google, Supabase, Vercel) may store and process data on servers located outside your country, including the United States. Where your data is transferred out of the European Economic Area, United Kingdom, Switzerland, or Argentina, we rely on Standard Contractual Clauses (SCCs)— or equivalent adequacy mechanisms — under each provider’s Data Processing Addendum. By using the Service you acknowledge this cross-border processing.
9. Your choices and rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to:
- access the personal data we hold about you;
- correct inaccurate data or complete incomplete data;
- delete your data (see “How to delete your account” in Section 6);
- object to, or restrict, processing based on legitimate interests;
- request a portable copy of your data;
- withdraw any consent you gave, at any time.
To exercise any of these rights, email hello@mydailyai.app. If you live in the European Economic Area, United Kingdom, or Argentina, you also have the right to complain to your local data-protection authority (e.g. the AAIP in Argentina). You can also stop all collection at any time by not using the Service.
10. Children
The Service is not intended for anyone under the age set in Section 1 (Part I), and we do not knowingly collect data from children below that age.
11. Changes
We may update this document as the experiment evolves. Material changes take effect when posted here.
By using My Daily AI you acknowledge that it is a free, experimental, non-commercial prototype, that AI-generated content may be inaccurate, and that you accept these Terms and this Privacy Policy.
